At this page you can test your browser to see if it correctly handles the international videos-format. That format is the webm -format, and it is Not the mp4 -format. At my websites, like here at YesTrip.nl, I (only) present standard formats, so no mp4-videos. If videos don't run here try another phone or computer, with a browser that does obey the rules.

The Real Reason for a browser (-company) to only enable to play mp3 and mp4 files is that those type of files (which also are programs !) can contain bad coding. And they often do. For very many companies (and hackers) that is an Opportunity ! Many videos (!) contain spyware and they are ment to copy your personal data to the apples in the world who make a profit with it by selling that. So if your browser does not play webm (video) and ogg (audio) files you now know why ...
Last But Not Least there also is a Financial reason why you should not want mp4 and mp3 files. The mp4 plus mp3 file at this page are 24Mb in size in total where the webm plus ogg file are 16.2 Mb in size in total. Which could mean you pay 50% more for your (larger) internetbundle.
